When I discovered this patch of wild sunflowers in Walnut Creek, CA, I knew I had to photograph my daughter here in her high school cap and gown. The bright yellow of the flowers paired with her red cap and gown popped so beautifully! And the sky showed off, too!


They say "the days are long, but the years are short," and as a mom, this couldn't feel more true! I'm so glad I was able to capture these memories as my daughter completed her high school career.
