They are shorter and more budget-friendly than a full session, offering fewer images, and are scheduled back-to-back with other sessions.
It’s the perfect way to capture stunning seasonal photos in a dreamy, natural setting!

Mustard Flower Mini Sessions are held in the beautiful East Bay area, including Clayton, Concord, Walnut Creek, Lafayette, and Martinez (CA). I spend a lot of time scouting the best fields of blooms each season and have several go-to spots I monitor closely. I’m also always on the lookout for new fields to ensure your session takes place in the most stunning location possible.
The exact location for your session will be chosen based on where the blooms are at their peak. I’ll reach out the week of your session with the address of the perfect spot for your date!
What should we wear?
Wardrobe plays a key role in your Walnut Creek Mustard Flower Mini Session, and there are several looks that work beautifully against the yellow fields:

However, they may not be the best fit for children who need extra time to warm up to the camera or extended families of more than 6 people. If you’d like a more relaxed pace or need additional time, I’d love to help you book a full session in the beautiful mustard flowers!

Before your session, you’ll receive a Welcome Guide filled with tips to help you prepare, feel confident, and enjoy the experience. My goal is to make your session not just about creating beautiful images, but also about making lasting memories together.
When will I receive my photos?
You will receive your password-protected online photo gallery within 3 weeks after your session. From there, you can pick your favorites, buy additional photos, and order prints!
