Joyful Extended Family Photo Session by Your Martinez Family Photographer
Extended family sessions are a wonderful way to create lasting keepsakes of your time together. This particular session had members of the family from several different states while they were here visiting in the Bay Area. I love being able to help the family commemorate their time together with a photo session!
I usually start with the entire group so we can get that important shot done first. Then, we start breaking down into smaller groupings based on the client's preferences. It's so much fun to capture the interactions between all of the cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. These are memories they'll treasure for years to come!
I love doing extended family sessions at the Martinez Regional Shoreline. There is plenty of space for a large group, and it is reasonably easy for family members of all ages to walk around. Aside from that, it's just an absolutely beautiful location all year round. With the tall reeds, wooden bridges, water, and beautiful open sky, there is always a lovely backdrop for your family photos.
